3.16.2.1 Buckles
3.16.2.1.1 General information
Buckles are used to limit side swinging of lower links of the mounted implement
both in transport and working positions.
On tractors "BELARUS-80.1/82.1/820" outer telescopic buckles can be mounted
and external turn buckles. Upon request internal turnbuckles can be mounted.
ATTENTION: WHEN CHANGING LENGTH OF THE BRACE IT IS NECESSARY
TO READJUST LOCKING OF BUCKLES IN TRANSPORT AND WORKING POSITIONS.
NONFULFILLMENT OF THIS REQUIREMENT CAN LEAD TO BREAKAGE OF LIMITING
BUCKLES OR OTHER FAILURES!
3.16.2.1.2 Telescopic buckles
Rear end of telescopic buckle 1 (figure 3.16.2) is connected to lower link 2, and
front end – to bracket 3.

ATTENTION: WHEN MOUNTING FRONT ENDS OF THE LOWER LINKS ON
AXES OF THE LOWER LINKS (DELIVERY CONDITION FROM THE FACTORY), TO
AVOID BREAKAGES, TELESCOPIC BUCKLES SHALL BE MOUNTING ONLY ON THE
SECOND FROM BELOW HOLES OF THE BRACKETS (POSITION 2 IN FIGURE
3.16.3)! IT IS FORBIDDEN TO USE THE POSITIONS ON THE BRACKET 1, 3 AND 4
SHOWN IN FIGURE 3.16.3 !
ATTENTION: WHEN MOUNTING FRONT ENDS OF THE LOWER LINKS ON
ADDITIONAL AXES 4 (FIGURE 3.16.2), TO AVOID BREAKAGES, TELESCOPIC
BUCKLES SHALL BE MOUNTED ONLY ON THE UPPER HOLES OF THE BRACKETS
(POSITION 4 IN FIGURE 3.16.3)! IT IS FORBIDDEN TO USE THE POSITIONS ON THE
BRACKET 1, 2 AND 3 SHOWN IN FIGURE 3.16.3!

During tractor operation telescopic buckles shall be always locked in one of the
three positions:
- partial locking of the buckles in working position;
- full locking of the buckles in working position;
- full locking of the buckles in transport position.
