6.4.5.12 Operation 59. Lubrication of RLL gear lifting rods mechanism
Note – The operation shall be performed only for gear lifting rods. If using grease
MS-1000 TU 0254-003-45540231-99, the operation shall be carried out every 2000 hours
of tractor operation.
Inject the gear lifting rods adjusting mechanism (one lubrication point for every gear
lifting rod) by making from four to six injections with a grease gun through grease fitting 1
(Figure 6.4.53) in the upper part of lifting rod 2 with the grease indicated in table 6.7.1.

6.4.5.13 Operation 60. Change of lubricant in steering joints
To change grease in steering joints, proceed as follows:
- remove lock wire 3 (figure 6.4.18);
- unscrew threaded plug 4;
- remove the grease present in joints 5;
- fill the joints with new grease indicated in table 6.7.1;
- screw in threaded plug 4 so that there is no gap in the articulated connection;
- lock plug 4 with wire 3.
Note – If HPS or HSC with HPS body is installed, it is necessary to change grease
in the joints of two steering links. When using grease MS-1000 TU 0254-003-45540231-
99, the operation should be carried out every 2000 hours of tractor operation.
6.4.5.14 Operation 61 Check/adjustment of pneumatic system pressure regulator
Note – The operation shall be performed on tractors with universal cabin (with can-
opy frame or canopy base on the basis of universal cabin)
Check and, if necessary, adjust the pressure regulator of pneumatic system as indi-
cated in subsection 3.8.3 "Check and adjustment of pneumatic system pressure regulator."
6.4.5.15 Operation 62. Check / tightening of cylinder head fastening bolts
Check the tightening of cylinder head fastening bolt with the warmed-up engine in
the following order:
- remove the cap and cover of the cylinder head;
- remove the rocker arm shaft with rocker arms and brackets;
- with the help of a torque wrench, check the tightening of all bolts fastening the cyl-
inder head in the order indicated in figure 6.4.54 and, if necessary, tighten the bolts;
1 – grease fitting; 2 – gear lifting rod.
