3.18.4 Programming procedure for tachospeedometer of instrument board
with molded panel

3.18.4.1 Tachospeedometer control panel

Programming panel 7 (figure 2.24.1) enables manual programming of the indicator
with the help of buttons «Parameter" ("Параметр") and "Value" ("Значение") (see figure
3.18.2), as well as changing the displaying mode for parameters revealed in LCD.
Note – On the face surface of the panel, there is testing jack ХР1, which allows to per-
form automatic programming (re-programming) of the integrated indicator with the help of a
special device, if any. If such a device is not available, the re-programming is carried out through
the above mentioned buttons. Jack XP1 is not used on tractors BELARUS-80.1/82.1/820» .

3.18.4.2 Tachospeedometer programming procedure

1. When selecting a fixed value of programmed parameter:
1.1 First pressing on button "Parameter" (see figure 3.18.2) switches the LCD to the mode of
viewing the programmed parameter designation and its numerical value. Another pressing
on the button starts the parameter change in a cycle.
1.2 Succeeding pressing on button "Value" (see figure 3.18.2) changes the numerical val-
ue of the set programmable parameter.
1.3 The mode is closed automatically if there is no pressing on buttons "Parameter" and
"Value" for 7.0 seconds.
When closing the mode, the last parameter values that had been selected with the "Value"
button will be locked.
2. When entering a non-fixed value of programmed parameter:
2.1 With the help of button "Parameter" select the parameter, the value of which is to be
changed;
2.2 Double-press the "Mode" button, this will activate blinking of the least significant digit of
the numerical value on the liquid crystal display;
2.3 Change the value of the blinking digit of the parameter by pressing button "Value";
2.4 Press button "Parameter" to move to a more significant digit;
2.5 Double-press the "Mode" button to close the programming mode of non-fixed values of
any parameter;
2.6 After closing the said mode, the digits of the entered parameter value stop blinking;
2.7 The new entered value appears the last in the list of permitted values for parameter
programming.
Notes:
- a single pressing on the "Mode" button in the programming mode does not enable
entering of a random parameter value;
- If there is no pressing on buttons "Mode", "Parameter", "Value" for seven seconds
in the mode of entering a non-fixed value, the Integrated indicator automatically switches
to the basic operation mode of the LCD while saving the set parameter values.
