TOP AND FRONT OF ENGINE
Timing chain: Removal - Refitting

a At (2) , unclip the fuel pipes from the engine wiring
support.
a Disconnect the connector (3) from the exhaust gas
recirculation solenoid valve.
a Remove the bolt (4) from the engine wiring support
on the back row upper timing cover.
a Separate the engine wiring support from the back
row upper timing cover.
a Loosen the air inlet pipe clips (5) of the damper
valve.
a Remove the air inlet pipe of the damper valve.

a Remove the bolts (6) from the coolant pipe at the
outlet of the exhaust gas recirculation solenoid
valve.
a Separate the coolant pipe at the outlet of the ex-
haust gas recirculation solenoid valve from the back
row upper timing cover.
a Remove the timing end lifting eye bolts (7) .
a Separate the timing end lifting eye from the back row
