Timing belt: Removal - Refitting

First position of the timing tension wheel
adjustable index
a Undo the timing tension wheel bolt by up to one turn,
holding the adjustable index with a 6 mm Allen key.
a Gradually position the timing tensioning roller adjust-
able index, turning the key anti-clockwise to the mid-
dle of the timing window.
Second position of the timing tensioning roller
adjustable index

a Undo the timing tension wheel bolt by up to one turn,
holding the adjustable index with a 6 mm Allen key.
a Gradually position the timing tensioning roller adjust-
able index, turning the key clockwise to the middle of
the timing window.
a Tighten the bolts:
- of the timing tension wheel,
- of the camshaft pulley hub.
a Remove:
- the (Mot. 1489),
