Intercooler: Removal - Refitting

a Pull the intercooler air outlet pipe clip (2) using a flat-
blade screwdriver.
a Disconnect and remove the intercooler air outlet
pipe.
II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART
CONCERNED
a Unclip the lower section of the engine cooling radia-
tor deflectors on the intercooler.
TURBOCHARGING

a Press on the intercooler pads (3) .
a Rotate the intercooler (4) .
a Separate the intercooler from the cooling radiator.
REFITTING
I - REFITTING PREPARATION OPERATION

Note:
Check that the intercooler is not full of oil. If it is,
clean it using SURFACE CLEANER (see Vehi-
cle: Parts and consumables for the repair)
(MR 415, 04B, Consumables - Products) and
leave to dry.
a Always replace the seals for the intercooler air inlet
and outlet pipes.
