- the « intermediate pipe - compressor » connecting
pipe (see Compressor - intermediate pipe con-

- the lower engine tie-bars (see 1 9 D, Engine
mounting, Lower engine tie-bar: Removal - Re-
fitting, page 19D-85) ,
- the left-hand suspended engine mounting (see
19D, Engine mounting, Left-hand suspended
engine mounting: Removal - Refitting, page
19D-1) ,
- the right-hand suspended engine mounting (see
19D, Engine mounting, Right-hand suspended
engine mounting: Removal - Refitting, page
19D-51) ,
- the engine - gearbox assembly (see 10A, Engine
and cylinder block assembly, Engine - gearbox
assembly: Removal - Refitting, page 10A-1) .
a Separate the gearbox from the engine (see Auto-
matic gearbox: Removal - Refitting) (23A, Auto-
matic transmission).
a Position the engine on the component support
(see Engine support equipment: Use) .
II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART

Note:
Fit the flywheel locking tool (Mot. 1431) with an
approximately 18 mm spacer.
a Fit the flywheel locking tool (Mot. 1431) (1) .
a Remove:
- the drive plate bolts using a Torx T55 Plus socket,
- the drive plate.
REFITTING
I - REFITTING PREPARATION OPERATION
a Visually inspect the condition of the crown wheel
and the drive plate.
a Use SURFACE CLEANER (see Vehicle: Parts
and consumables for the repair) (04B, Consuma-
bles - Products) to clean and degrease:
- the drive plate,
- the drive plate bearing face on the crankshaft,
- the drive plate thread holes on the crankshaft.
a parts always to be replaced: Drive plate bolt (12,
07,02,24).
