Timing chain: Removal - Refitting

a Apply beads of SILICONE ADHESIVE SEALANT
(see Vehicle: Parts and consumables for the re-
pair) (04B, Consumables - Products) with a width of
2.6 to 3.6 mm to the timing cover.
a Refit the timing cover.
a Tighten to torque and in order:
- the M6 bolts on the timing cover (13 Nm),
- the M8 bolts on the timing cover (29 N.m).

a Refit:
- the new dephaser cover seals,
- the dephaser covers equipped with new seals,
- in order, the bolts of the dephaser covers.

a Refit the lower (28) bolts of the timing cover.
a Torque tighten the lower bolts of the timing cover
(19 Nm).
