a Fit the flywheel locking tool (Mot. 919-02).
a Refit the crankshaft accessories pulley (see 11A,
Top and front of engine, Crankshaft accessories
pulley: Removal - Refitting, page 11A-33) .
a Remove the flywheel locking tool (Mot. 919-02).
a Refit:
- the alternator (see 16A, Starting - Charging, Al-
ternator: Removal - Refitting, page 16A-1) ,
- the rocker covers (see 11A, Top and front of en-
gine, Rocker cover: Removal - Refitting, page
11A-139) ,
- the ignition coils (see 17A, Ignition, Coils: Re-
moval - Refitting, page 17A-1) ,
- the inlet manifold (see 12A, Fuel mixture, Inlet
distributor: Removal - Refitting, page 12A-75) ,
- the power-assisted steering pump (see Power-as-
sisted steering pump: Removal - Refitting)

- the accessories belts (see 11A, Top and front of

a Remove the engine from the component support
(see Engine support equipment: Use) .
a Couple the gearbox to the engine (see Automatic

a Remove the lifting eye on the timing end (see 11A,
Top and front of engine, Lifting eyes: Removal -
Refitting, page 11A-318) .
a Refit:
- the engine and gearbox assembly (see 10A, En-
gine and cylinder block assembly, Engine -
gearbox assembly: Removal - Refitting, page
10A-1) ,
- the central nut of the left-hand suspended engine
mounting rubber pad,
- the right-hand suspended engine mounting (see
19D, Engine mounting, Right-hand suspended
engine mounting: Removal - Refitting, page
19D-51) .
a Torque tighten the central nut of the left-hand sus-
pended engine mounting rubber pad (62 N.m).
a Remove the tool (Mot. 1390) from the "engine -
gearbox" assembly.
a Refit:
- the front and rear catalytic pre-converters (see
133842 Front catalytic pre-converter: Removal - Refit-
ting) and (see Rear catalytic pre-converter: Re-
moval - Refitting) ,
- the front row upstream oxygen sensor (see 17B,
Petrol injection, Oxygen sensors: Removal -

- the inlet manifold (see 12A, Fuel mixture, Inlet

- the radiator cross member mounting (see Radiator
