Engine - gearbox assembly: Removal - Refitting

a Disconnect the connectors (36) of the air condition-
ing compressor.
a Unclip the wiring on the multifunction support.
Note:
Before removing the earth terminal, mark its
position using an indelible marker by drawing a
line on the earth terminal and on the gearbox
casing.
When reassembling, improper positioning of the
earth terminal on the gearbox casing could result
in damage to the earth terminal or earth wiring.

a Remove the gearbox earth cable bolt (37) .
a Remove:
- the bolt (38) on the right-hand side underbody pro-
tector,
- the nut (39) on the right-hand side underbody pro-
tector.
a Remove:
- the right-hand side underbody protector,
- the heat shield behind the right-hand side under-
body protector.
