TOP AND FRONT OF ENGINE
Timing chain: Removal - Refitting

a Refit the engine mounting.
a Finger tighten the engine mounting bolts in order (1)
to (6) until they make contact.
a Tighten to torque and in order:
- the side bolts of the engine mounting on the
cylinder head (30 N.m + 54˚ ± ± ± ± 6˚) from (1) to (5) .
- the upper bolt of the engine mounting on the
cylinder head (25 N.m) (6) .

a Refit the engine mounting reinforcement (39) .
a Finger tighten the reinforcement bolts in order (1) to
(4) until they make contact.
a Torque tighten the engine mounting reinforce-
ment bolts (25 N.m) from (1) to (4) .
III - FINAL OPERATION
a Fit the flywheel locking tool (Mot. 1431) onto the cyl-
inder block.
a Refit:
- the new crankshaft seal on the timing end (see
1 0 A , Engine and cylinder block assembly,
Crankshaft seal on timing end: Removal - Refit-
ting, page 10A-134) ,
- the crankshaft accessories pulley (see 11A, Top
and front of engine, Crankshaft accessories
pulley: Removal - Refitting, page 11A-33) .
a Remove the tool (Mot. 1431).
