Front exhaust manifold: Removal - Refitting

- the front exhaust manifold heat shield.
II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART
CONCERNED
a Remove the clip (7) between the front exhaust man-
ifold and the turbocharger.

Note:
Apply SUPER RELEASING AGENT (see Vehi-
cle: Parts and consumables for the repair)
(04B, Consumables - Products) before loosen-
ing the nuts of the exhaust manifold.
a Remove:
- the nuts (8) from the front exhaust manifold,
- the front exhaust manifold spacers,
- the front exhaust manifold gasket,
- the seal between the front exhaust manifold and
the turbocharger.
REFITTING
I - REFITTING PREPARATION OPERATION
a parts always to be replaced: exhaust manifold
seal (10,07,02,07).
a parts always to be replaced: exhaust manifold
stud on cylinder head (if loosened) (10,07,02,10).
a parts always to be replaced: exhaust manifold
nut (10,07,02,08).
a parts always to be replaced: seal between ex-
haust manifold and turbocharger (10,09,01,07).
a Always replace:
- the clip between the turbocharger and the front ex-
haust manifold,
