Cylinder head: Removal - Refitting

a Fit the new cylinder head gasket (13) on the cylinder
block.
a Place two small drops of SILICONE ADHESIVE
SEALANT measuring ∅ ∅ ∅ ∅ 5 to 7 mm on the cylinder
head gasket at (14) (timing end).
a Position the pistons at mid-stroke by turning the
crankshaft in a clockwise direction.
a Refit the cylinder head.
a Tighten to torque and in order:
- the cylinder head bolts (initial torque) (5 N.m),
- the cylinder head bolts (final torque) (30 N.m +

300˚ ± ± ± ± 6˚).
a Clean any excess SILICONE ADHESIVE SEAL-
ANT from the timing face using a plastic spatula.
