REMOVAL
I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION
a Position the vehicle on a two-post lift (see Vehicle:
Towing and lifting) (MR 415, 02A, Lifting equip-
ment).
a Remove:
- the dipstick (1) ,
- the engine undertray bolts,
- the engine undertray.
a Drain the engine (see 10A, Engine and cylinder
block assembly, Engine oil: Draining - Refilling,
page 10A-100) .
a Remove the lower cover (see 10A, Engine and cyl-
inder block assembly, Lower cover: Removal -
Refitting, page 10A-180) .
II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART
CONCERNED
25 N.m
a Remove:
- the oil pump strainer bolts (2) ,
- the oil pump strainer.

a Remove the bolt (3) from the oil splash plate on the
oil pump.
