With the third seat back in the UP position,
re-
move the retainers from the seat hinge support studs.
(2)
Remove the seat back and support panel assem-
bly.
(3) Remove the retainer from the seat back support
hinge pin (Fig. 32) and remove the seat back assem-
bly.
(4) The seat back cushion
is retained to the seat
back panel with screws (Figs. 32 and 33).

Position the seat back hinge on the support
panel hinge and install the retainer pins and retain-
ers.

The third seat cushion is attached to hinges
which in turn are attached to the quarter inner pan-
els by screws.
(2) Remove the screws attaching the hinges to the
quarter inner panel.

(1)
With the original seat cushion cover removed,
position the cushion right side up on a clean working
surface.
(2) Inspect the spring pad and pad cover for dam-
age and also make certain the pad and pad cover (Fig.
34) are centered on the spring assembly.
(3) Insert the listing wires into the new cushion
cover.
(4)
Center the new cover on the cushion assembly
and draw the cover over the corners, working out all
wrinkles.
(5)
Carefully turn the cushion assembly bottom
side up, being careful not to disturb pad and cover.

Position the cushion assembly on the rear floor
(2) Install the hinges on the quarter inner panel
(3) Test the operation of the seat and inspect the

Adjust as necessary by loosening the hinges
