POWER BRAKE-MIDLAND
ROSS
Description
The Midland Ross Power Brake (Fig. 36) is located
on the engine side of the dash panel. The forward
cover of the vacuum cylinder supports the master
cylinder.
The Midland Ross Power Brake unit can be identi-
fied by a clamp and screw method of attaching the
housing to the cover.
The power brake derives its power from the intake
manifold vacuum and atmospheric pressure. It does
not require
a
vacuum reservoir.
