Check the oil pan for faiure, damage and cracks. Replace if
defective.

Check the oil screen for clogging, damage and cracks and
replace if defective.

. APPLICATION OF SEALENT TO CYLINDER BLOCK
Apply specified sealant to four places shown in illustration.
Specified
sealant:
MITSUBISHI GENUINE Part No.
MZ100168 or equivalent
Caution
Do not apply sealant to oil pan gasket.
