Apply

grease
to the ball insertion
parts of the
D.O.J.
inner
race and D.O.J.
cage,
and insert the
balls.

INSTALLATION
OF D.O.J.
OUTER
RACE
(1) Apply 65 to 75 g (2.3 to 2.6 oz) of specified
grease to the
D.O.J.
outer
race.
(2) Fit the drive shaft
into the D.O.J.
outer
race.
(3) Apply 45 to 55 g (1.6 to 1.9 oz) of specified
grease to the
D.O.J.
outer
race.

1. INSTALLATION
OF BOOT
BANDS
(FOR D.O.J.
BOOT)
(1) Install the circlip onto
the D.O.J.
outer
race.
(2) Place the D.O.J.
boot over the D.O.J. outer
race, and
then
use boot
band
(1) to secure
the boot.
(3) Place boot band (2) at the specified
distance
in order to
adjust the amount
of air inside the D.O.J. boot, and then
tighten
the boot
band
(2).
