Remove the axle bolt and loosen the right axle
pinch bolt.
Support the motorcycle securely using a hoist or
equivalent and raise the front wheel off the ground.
Loosen the left axle pinch bolt.
Pull the front axle out and remove the front wheel.

Axle
Set the axle in V-block and measure the runout.
Actual runout is 1/2 the total indicator reading.
