COOLING SYSTEM
Align the mounting bolt holes in the water pum
and crankcase and make sure the water pump 1s
securely installed.
Install a new O-ring into the groove in the water
pump body.
Install the water pump cover and assembly bolts.
Tighten the bolts to the specified torque.
TORQUE: 12 N•m (1.2 kgf•m, 9 lbt-ft)
Connect the bypass hose, then tighten the hose
band screw (page 6-21 ).
Install a new O-ring to the joint pipe.
