12 N·m ( 1.2 kgf-m, 9 lbf·ft)

Remove the dowel pins.
Clean any sealant off from the alternator cover mat­
ing surfaces.
REMOVAL
Remove the bolt and stator wire clamp.
Remove the alternator wire grommet from the alter­
nator cover.
Remove the socket bolts and stator.
