Check the starter clutch outer inner surface and one­
way clutch for abnormal wear or damage and
replace them if necessary.
Check the starter driven gear for abnormal wear or
damage.
Measure the starter driven gear boss O.D.

Check the starter reduction gear for wear or damage
and replace it if necessary.
