Apply molybdenum oil solution to the crankpin
bearing sliding surfaces on the connecting rod bear­
ing caps.
Install the connecting rod bearing caps by aligning
the I.D. code on the connecting rod and bearing cap.
Be sure each part is installed in its original position,
as noted during removal.
Apply engine oil to the connecting rod bearing cap
nut threads and seating surfaces, and install them.
Tighten the bolts in two or three steps alternately,
then tighten the nuts to the specified torque.
TORQUE: 26 N•m (2.7 kgf•m, 19 lbf-ft)
Assemble the crankcase halves (page 11-15).
