CLUTCH/STARTER CLUTCH/GEARSHIFT LINKAGE
Clutch spring
Measure the clutch spring free length.
Replace the clucch
springs as a set.
SERVICE LIMIT: 47.2 mm (1.86 in)
Clutch center
Check the grooves of the clutch center for damage
or wear caused by the clutch plates.
Replace it if necessary.
Clutch litter piece
Check the clutch lifter piece for damage or abnormal
wear.
Clutch disc
Replace the clutch discs if they show signs of scor­
