Remove the cam chain tensioner lifter sealing bolt
and sealing washer.
Turn the cam chain tensioner lifter shaft fully in
(clockwise) and secure it using the special tool to
prevent damaging the cam chain.

If you plan to replace the camshaft and/or cam

to remove the cam sprocket. loosen the cam sprocket bolts as follows:

- Turn the crankshaft clockwise one full turn

the camshafts.
- Remove the bolts and cam chain guide B.
- Remove the cam sprockets from the camshafts.
