Usage Guideline
The calling party user hear the ring-back tone indicating a called party's
ringing. The ring- back tone is generated from calling party side or called party
side. The called party send ring-back tone to calling party using two methods.
The first method is in-band audio packet that is transmited to receive side via
RTP channel by fast start procedure. The second method is ALERT message
tone received from called party.
At first, this VoIP gateway's calling party hear the ring-back tone using ALERT
message(default setting), and then, if inband ring-back tone is received from
called party, calling party can hear inband ring-back tone. However, if called
party send a CALL PROCEEDING/ ALERT/ PROCESS message that include a
progress indicate information element indicating "inband announcement
available", calling party does not generate local ring-back tone.
Therefore, we recommend the local-ringback-tone configuration setting. If
user want to generate virtual ring-back tone immediately after SETUP message
