Initial Actions
Ensure that the electricity to the machine is switched off while performing tasks that do
not need electricity. Refer to
death or injury. Moving parts can cause injury.

Enter dC330 code 62-002 to activate the exposure lamps. Exposure lamps illuminate.

Remove the scanner PWB cover, refer to

Re-seat loose connectors or install new components as necessary:
• Scan carriage assembly,
• Scanner PWB, PL 62.16 Item
• Scan carriage ribbon cable,
Refer to WD 3.1, WD 3.2 and
• PJ922 on the scanner PWB
• PJ920 on the scanner PWB
The wiring is good.

Go to IQ 29, refer to the CVT and Document Glass Checkout. Check the white calibration strip
on the front undersides of the document and CVT glass. Calibration strip is clean.
