Replacement
The replacement is the reverse of the removal procedure. Make sure the document width sen-
sor arm is attached correctly, refer to Figure

Release the harness.

Disconnect PJ193.

Remove the document width sensor.
Ground harness.

Removal
Switch off the electricity to the machine. Refer to
from the customer supply while performing tasks that do not need electricity. Electricity
can cause death or injury. Moving parts can cause injury.
1. Remove the input tray assembly,
Disconnect the ground harness from the static eliminator before the input tray assembly lower
cover is removed, refer to Figure 1
2. Turn the input tray assembly upside down, then remove the Lower cover (right),
Item 9 and Lower cover (left),
3. Remove the input tray static eliminators,
Replacement
The replacement is the reverse of the removal procedure.
