55.3 IPv6 Command Examples

This example shows how to enable IPv6 in VLAN 1 and display the link-local address the OLT
automatically generated and other IPv6 information for the VLAN.
OLT2406# config
OLT2406(config)# vlan 1
OLT2406(config-vlan)# ipv6
OLT2406(config-vlan)# exit
OLT2406(config)# exit
OLT2406# show ipv6 vlan 1

This example shows how to manually configure two IPv6 addresses (one uses the EUI-64 format, one
doesn't) in VLAN 1, and then display the result. Before using ipv6 address commands, you have to
enable IPv6 in the VLAN and this has the OLT generate a link-local address for the interface.
