LABEL DESCRIPTION
IP Subnet Enter the IP subnet of the hosts, to which this MAC forced forwarding entry applies.
In the left field, enter a subnet IP address of the hosts.
In the right field, enter the number of bits for the specified IP address's netmask from left to right.
This determines how many subscriber IP addresses should be included in this rule. See

Gateway Enter the IP address of the external gateway to which you want to forward ARP requests from
devices belonging to this entry's VLAN. The OLT drops ARP replies from other devices connected
to the uplink port so they remain hidden.
Note: To have an external gateway work as the MACFF gateway, you need to enter
the IP address of the external gateway in this field.
Otherwise, leave this field empty, and the OLT will work as the MACFF gateway.
Note: This router or server should also be a member of the specified VLAN.
Add Click this to create a new entry or to update an existing one.
This saves your changes to the OLT's run-time memory. The OLT loses these changes if it is turned
off or loses power, so use the Save link on the top navigation panel to save your changes to the
non-volatile memory when you are done configuring.
Cancel Click Cancel to change the fields back to their last saved values.
Clear Click Clear to begin configuring this screen afresh.
Index This is an incremental number indicating the order in which the profiles were created.
VID This field displays the VLAN ID number of the MACFF gateway.
IP Subnet This field displays the subnet IP address of the hosts.
Gateway This field displays the IP address of the external gateway.
Delete Select an entry's check box to select a specific entry.
Delete Check the entry(ies) that you want to remove, then click the Delete button.
Cancel Click Cancel to clear the check boxes.
