2.6 Transceiver Removal

Use the following steps to remove an SFP or SFP+ module from a slot.
Remove the fiber-optic cables from the transceiver.

Unlock the transceiver's latch (Latch styles vary).

Pull the transceiver out of the slot.

Put the transceiver's dust cover on the transceiver.
