Alternatively, click Save on the top right-hand corner in any screen to save the configuration changes
to the current configuration.
Note: Clicking the Apply or Add button does NOT save the changes permanently. All
unsaved changes are erased after you reboot the OLT.
43.5 Reboot System
Reboot System allows you to restart the OLT without physically turning the power off. It also allows you to
load configuration one (Config 1) or configuration two (Config 2) when you reboot. Follow the steps
below to reboot the OLT.
In the Maintenance screen, click a configuration button next to Reboot System to reboot and load that

configuration file. The following screen displays.

Click OK again and then wait for the OLT to restart. This takes up to two minutes. This does not affect the

OLT's configuration.
Click Config 1 and follow steps 1 to 2 to reboot and load configuration one on the OLT.
Click Config 2 and follow steps 1 to 2 to reboot and load configuration two on the OLT.
43.6 Firmware Upgrade
Use the following screen to upgrade your OLT to the latest firmware. The OLT supports dual firmware
images, Firmware 1 and Firmware 2. Use this screen to specify which image is updated when firmware is
uploaded using the web configurator and to specify which image is loaded when the OLT starts up.
Make sure you have downloaded (and unzipped) the correct model firmware and version to your
computer before uploading to the device.
Be sure to upload the correct model firmware as uploading the wrong
model firmware may damage your device.
Click Management > Maintenance > Firmware Upgrade to view the screen as shown next.
