Chapter 89 MAC Forced Forwarding
DESCRIPTION
Enables MACFF (MAC Forced Forwarding) on
the OLT.
Disables MACFF.
Enters config-vlan mode for the specified VLAN.
Creates the VLAN, if necessary.
Enter the IP subnet of the hosts, to which this
MAC forced forwarding applies.
ip: Enter a subnet IP address of the hosts.
maskbits: Enter the number of bits for the
specified IP address's netmask. This determines
how many subscriber IP addresses should be
included in this rule. See

Use this command to have the OLT work as the
MACFF gateway.
Enter the IP subnet of the hosts, to which this
MAC forced forwarding applies.
ip: Enter a subnet IP address of the hosts.
maskbits: Enter the number of bits for the
specified IP address's netmask. This determines
how many subscriber IP addresses should be
included in this rule. See

gateway: Enter the IP address of the external
gateway to which you want to forward ARP
requests from devices belonging to this VLAN.
The OLT drops ARP replies from other devices
connected to the uplink port so they remain
hidden.
Use this command to have an external gateway
work as the MACFF gateway.
Provides more information about the specified
command.
Displays the MACFF configuration.
Displays the MACFF status.
