52.9 Configuring Uplink Ports

The management switching card has six uplink ports on the front panel to use for uplink and subtending
connections. Ports 1 and 2 are 1 Gbps. Ports 3 through 6 you can configure as 10 Gbps or 1 Gbps. This
example configures an uplink port on a management switching card installed in slot 1 so the OLT can
use it.
Use "msc-1-<port>" for an uplink port (use "msc-1-" no matter which slot the active MSC is in). Select an
1
uplink port on the management switching card (port 1 in this example) and set the speed and duplex.
This example is for a 1 Gb full duplex connection.
OLT2406# config
OLT2406(config)# interface port-channel msc-1-1
OLT2406(config-interface)# speed-duplex 1000-full
OLT2406(config-interface)# exit
