51.1 Overview

This chapter introduces the Command Line Interface (CLI) of the OLT. It describes how to access and
use commands in the CLI and how commands are documented in this guide.

51.2 Accessing the CLI

Use any of the following methods to access the CLI.

51.2.1 Console Port

Connect your computer to the console port on the OLT using the appropriate cable (See

Press [ENTER] to go to the login prompt.

51.2.2 Local Telnet

Connect your computer to the MGMT port.

Open a Telnet session to the OLT's out-of-band MGMT port IP address.
