Default
The default value of the hello-time is 2 seconds.
The default value of the forward-time is 15 seconds.
The default value of the max-age is 20 seconds.

Usage Guideline
This command is used to configure the Spanning Tree timer value.
Example
This example shows how to configure the STP timers.
Switch# configure terminal
Switch(config)# spanning-tree hello-time 1
Switch(config)# spanning-tree forward-time 16
Switch(config)# spanning-tree max-age 21

This command is used to enable or disable the STP operation. Use the no form of this command to
revert to the default setting.
