6 Disconnect igniter connector and check voltage between terminals IGT1 − 3 of
ECM connector and body ground.

Measure voltage between terminals IGT1 ∼ 3 of ECM connector
and body ground when engine is cranked.

Disconnect the igniter connector.
9 (+)
CHECK:
Measure voltage between terminal 9 of igniter connector and
body ground, when ignition switch is turned to "ON" and
"START" position.

− ENGINE (5VZ−FE)
Disconnect the igniter connector.
Remove the right cowl side trim (See page SF−61).
Voltage: More than 0.1 V and less than 5.0 V
Check and replace ECM (See page IN−26).
Voltage: 9 − 14 V
Check and repair igniter power source circuit.
