Error Message
The number of journal volumes in some
journals exceeds the maximum.
Adjust the number of journal volumes.
The same volume is stored more than
once in the Preview list.
Please use the sort function to identify
volumes with the same LDKC number,
the same CU number and the same LDEV
number.
There is no volume that can be registered
or deleted.
The specified parity group does not
contain volumes that can be registered
or deleted as journal volumes.
There are two or more CLPR numbers for
the specified data volume. In this
operation, please specify only one CLPR
number.
The CLPR number of the specified data
volume is different from the CLPR number
of the data volume in the Preview list. In
this operation, please specify only one
CLPR number.
Multiple CLPR numbers are existing in
the specified volume, or you tried to
register a volume different from the CLPR
number of an existing volume. In one
journal, more than one CLPR numbers
cannot be existed.
The number of Preview data may have
exceeded the limit, or too large number
of data is selected.
The specified function is not supported
by the current microcode version.
The current microcode version of
DKCMAIN does not support Add Pair
(Paircreate) operations, Resume Pair
operations, and Change Pair Option
operations using the emulation type of
the specified volume.
Recommended Action
Continuous Access Journal, then start the
Continuous Access Journal Z window or
the Continuous Access Journal window.
Reduce the number of journal volumes
to be registered, or increase the number
of journal volumes to be deleted.
Use the sort function to identify volumes
with the same LDKC number, the same
CU number and the same LDEV number.
Create a volume that can be used as a
journal volume. To do this, add a volume
or use some other way.
Specify another parity group.
Check the CLPR number for the specified
data volume, and specify only one CLPR
number.
Specify only the volume that has the
same CLPR number as the CLPR number
of the volume in the Preview list.
Check the CLPR number of the specified
volume and the CLPR numbers of volumes
if it is already existed. Specify a volume
so that there is only one CLPR number in
the journal.
Check the amount of the Preview data.
If the amount of the Preview data is too
large, clear the Preview data by clicking
[Apply], and then retry the operation.
If the amount of Preview data is small or
there is no Preview data, too much data
is selected. Reduce the number of data,
and retry the operation.
Check the microcode version of the
DKCMAIN, then contact HP Technical
Support.
Check the microcode version of
DKCMAIN. To use other emulation types,
please contact HP Technical Support to
update the microcode version of
DKCMAIN.
