6.10 Instructions for troubleshooting in HLL
Possible failures in HLL and guidelines for troubleshooting are shown in Table 6.10.1

position "load", characteristic sound made by pump under load, is audible. After
diesel shut down, transfer of position handle to front and then rear position and
diesel start, the hinge is lifting (power handle should be in the front position)
Clogging of jet opening in the un-
loading valve.

The fault develops as oil heats up in
the hydraulic system – faulty pump
The defect develops at any oil tem-
perature clogging of hydraulic lift dis-
tribution valve by-pass valve.
Tighten fastening and, if necessary,
replace gaskets of the suck -in manifold.
Check condition of self-squeezing collars
and replace them, if necessary
Drain excessive oil down to the recommended level
Fill tank with oil up to recommended level
Remove dents or replace oil line.
Use agricultural implements agreed upon with manu-
facturer.
Dismount and wash the protective valve. Adjust the
pressure, kept by the protective valve.
Contact your dealer. It is necessary to dismount
governor-distributor from tractor, pull out by-pass
valve, rinse valve, clean valve jet opening.
The operation is performed by the dealer. Re-
move the cover of the hydraulic lift distribution
valve. Shift position handle to front position.
Spool locking ring shall abut against the housing
of hydraulic lift distribution valve. Shift position
handle to rear position; Spool should move up-
wards by at least 7 mm. If distance is less, dis-
mount hydraulic lift distribution valve, remove
foreign particles stuck between the spool rim and
the housing..
Hitch with weight doesn't lift, or its lift is slow
Contact your dealer. It is necessary to check pump
capacity on a special bench. If pump efficiency is less
than 0.7., replace the pump.
Contract your dealer. It is necessary to dismount hy-
draulic lift distribution valve, pull out by- pass valve,
wash it and the body in diesel fuel.
