Indoor and Outdoor Mapping – Option 352 (Requires Spectrum Analyzer Mode
(Option 233 on N991xA), and GPS Receiver (Option 307))
How to Set Up Mapping Settings
A KDAT file is the file FieldFox uses to recall an indoor mapping/data
logging session ("Recall Indoor Log File"). It's an archive file that contains
information about the original image file, the location of the recorded data
on the image and the actual recorded data. KDAT files can only be opened
with FieldFox itself. KDAT files cannot be opened via Data Link.
An auxiliary CSV data file is generated automatically, each time a KDAT file
is saved during an indoor mapping session. The CSV contains the recorded
data, without the image, location of the recorded data, etcetera.
