At this point you have an option to test DS-1 carrier states or to continue with
this procedure. Testing DS-1 carrier states to make sure that they are in the
correct states is not necessary, but it can prevent a failure of the C7BERT.
If you do not want to test the DS-1 carrier states, go to step 39.
If you want to test the DS-1 carrier states, perform the "Test the DS-1 carrier
states" procedure in this document. After completing the procedure, go to
step 39.
