Replacing a door gasket

Trouble locating and clearing procedures (continued)
Remove and discard the gasket that has faults.
Remove the adhesive deposit from the mounting surface of the inside door
panel.
Note: Apply a petroleum-based cleaner with a lint-free industrial wiper.
Use a lint-free industrial wiper to clean the mounting area with a degreasing
solvent (for example, isopropyl alcohol).
Note: Let the surface dry before you install the new gasket.
Peel off the release tape from the adhesive backing of the gasket. Install the
gasket in place.
Note: Press the gasket down to ensure that it adheres correctly to the
surface of the door.
Close the doors carefully. Allow the adhesive to cure for 24 hours.
The procedure is complete.
