Functionality
The generic control points function block CNTRL can be used in combination with other
function blocks such as FKEYGGIO. SPC offers the capability to activate its outputs
through a local or remote control. The local control is provided through the buttons in the
front panel and the remote control is provided through communications. CNTRL has two
modes of operation. In the "Toggle" mode, the block toggles the output signal for every
input pulse received. In the "Pulsed" mode, the block generates an output pulse of a preset
duration.
Operation principle
The function can be enabled and disabled with the Operation setting. The corresponding
parameter values are "Enable" and "Disable".
