Default Configuration
Default path cost is determined by port speed and path cost method (long or
short) as shown below:
Interface
Port-channel
Gigabit Ethernet (1000 Mbps)
Fast Ethernet (100 Mbps)
Ethernet (10 Mbps)

Interface Configuration (Ethernet, port-channel) mode
Example
The following example configures the spanning-tree cost on gi15 to 35000.
Console(config)# interface gi15
Console(config-if)# spanning-tree cost 35000

spanning-tree port-priority

Use the spanning-tree port-priority Interface Configuration (Ethernet,
port-channel) mode command to configure the port priority. Use the no form of this
command to restore the default configuration.
Syntax
spanning-tree port-priority
no spanning-tree port-priority
Parameters
priority—Specifies the port priority. (Range: 0–240)
Default Configuration
The default port priority for IEEE Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) is 128.
