mdix

Use the mdix Interface Configuration (Ethernet) mode command to enable cable
crossover on a given interface. Use the no form of this command to disable cable
crossover.
Syntax
{on | auto}
mdix
no mdix
Parameters
•
on—Enables manual MDIX.
•
auto—Enables automatic MDI/MDIX.
Default Configuration
The default setting is On.

The following example enables automatic crossover on port
Console(config)# interface gi5
Console(config-if)# mdix auto

Use the back-pressure Interface Configuration (Ethernet) mode command to
enable back pressure on a specific interface. Use the no form of this command to
disable back pressure.
