Example
The following example sets the port security mode to Lock for gi7.
Console(config)# interface gi7
Console(config-if)# port security mode lock

27.22 port security max

Use the port security mode Interface Configuration (Ethernet, Port-channel) mode
command to configure the maximum number of addresses that can be learned on
the port while the port is in port security max-addresses mode. Use the no form of
this command to restore the default configuration.
Syntax
max-addr
port security max {
no port security max
Parameters
max-addr—Specifies the maximum number of addresses that can be learned on
the port. (Range: 0–256)
Default Configuration
This default maximum number of addresses is 1.

This command is relevant in port security max-addresses mode only.
