spanning-tree disable
Use the spanning-tree disable Interface Configuration (Ethernet, port-channel)
mode command to disable the spanning tree on a specific port. Use the no form of
this command to enable the spanning tree on a port.
Syntax
spanning-tree disable
no spanning-tree disable
Default Configuration
Spanning tree is enabled on all ports.
Command Mode
Interface Configuration (Ethernet, port-channel) mode
Example
The following example disables the spanning tree on gi5
Console(config)#
interface gi5
Console(config-if)#

spanning-tree cost
Use the spanning-tree cost Interface Configuration (Ethernet, port-channel) mode
command to configure the spanning-tree path cost for a port. Use the no form of
this command to restore the default configuration.
Syntax
cost
spanning-tree cost
no spanning-tree cost
Parameters
cost—Specifies the port path cost. (Range: 1–200000000)
