11.2.3 Replacing the CUD
WARNING
Qualified personnel
The CUD must only be replaced by qualified personnel.
The TSE capacitors continue to carry dangerous voltage levels following disconnection. For
this reason, the device should not be opened until a reasonable period of time has elapsed.
Death, serious injury, or substantial material damage can result if these warnings are not
taken into account.
Note
The information regarding electrostatic sensitive devices must be carefully observed. See
ESD-sensitive components (Page 22).
Note
Use the supplied protective cover
The module is equipped on both sides with highly sensitive components that can be
damaged if installed incorrectly.
It is therefore essential that you use the supplied mounting aid (protective cover) when
installing or removing the CUD.
Required tools
Torx screwdrivers TX10 (CUD) and TX20/TX30 (front cover).
