Note
An open input is interpreted as "low".
Terminal M1 or M2 must be connected in order that digital inputs (DI) can function.
This is carried out by:
1) Providing the ground reference of the digital inputs, or
2) A jumper to M (caution! This removes the electrical isolation for these digital inputs).
