6.3 Possible Rear Axle Malfunctions and Directions for their Remedy

The list of rear axle possible malfunctions and directions for their remedy is speci-

The list of rear power take-off shaft possible malfunctions and directions for their
remedy is specified in Table 6.4.1.

The rear PTO shaft does not transmits full torque (slips) or continues to ro-
tate when is deactivated

- adjust the contact pattern for the main gear
meshing;
- adjust the side clearance in the main pair mesh-
ing
Adjust the bearing preload.
Contact your dealer to perform required adjust-
ments of the PTO shaft.
Remedy reasons, which interfere with free move-
ment of the rear PTO shaft control mechanism
parts. The rear PTO shaft control lever shall relia-
bly fix in positions "PTO shaft is ON" / "PTO shaft
is OFF".
